Special Times Call for Special Outfits

I first got the idea to create made-to-order clothing when my daughters were asked to be flower girls in my friends’ weddings. While I had no shortage of beautiful party dresses at the ready, I realized that my custom-made designs were truly special because they not only fit perfectly but were also extremely unique.

Since then Papo d’Anjo has been producing these bespoke–the British term for custom-made clothing–for special occasions including Baptisms, Weddings, First Communions, and Bar and Bat Mitzvahs. Customers can choose from a carefully edited assortment of my favorite designs and fabrics that I sourced from the finest mills in Europe.  I’ve selected gorgeous of French piques, delicate organzas, silk taffetas, Italian linens and luxurious cotton velvets.

    Yes, special times do call for special outfits. My daughter will be making her First Communion this spring and I really had my heart set on ordering a special dress from Papo d’Anjo. I have ordered from your company online in the past and have also purchased clothing from your line at Saks. It took two calls and an email to receive a response. Finally,I was promised a catalogue which, weeks later has yet to arrive. Today, your customer service rep told me that you no longer mailed out catalogues for the bespoke collection and that the cataloque was now sent by a pdf via email. I never received a pdf file either. Fortunately, I was able to order a beautiful dress for my daughter from another designer. Although your dresses are beautiful, I am very glad that I did not trust a Papo d’Anjo with such an important dress as I now have no confidence in your customer service!

      I am writing to apologize for the very disappointing experience you have had
      with my company.

      There is no excuse for your having been promised so many things and to have
      been treated by our customer service team as though your requests were
      irrelevant to us.

      I will be looking into exactly how this could have happened so as to: 1) see
      how I might possibly make this up to you and regain your confidence in Papo
      d’Anjo and 2) to make sure that no single customer ever again has such an
      experience.
